'Ghosts' official release March 15th 2008
Most people who can’t sleep drink warm milk or count sheep. When Michael Korb had a life-crushing bout with insomnia, he not only recorded the album he’d spent his whole life writing – he played all the instruments on it, too.

Ghosts, acoustic guitars and clean vocals meet intricate drum and bass over a dreamscape of atmospheric strangeness. It’s emotional without the emo, rock without the gratuitous electric guitars and pop without insulting your intelligence – it's full of contradictions. Imagine Elliott Smith's honesty, Jeff Buckley's passion, and Thom Yorke's paranoia, rolled into one awkward package.Having shared the stage with Long Island favorites like Miles to Dayton, John-Flor Sisante, and Phil Minissale, Michael Korb adds a dark complexity to the acoustic music scene. He's been featured on Acoustic Long Island, and in April he'll be opening for Miles to Dayton on the main stage of the Patchogue Theatre for Performing Arts.
Michael Korb is available for interviews, live radio performances, and east coast shows.
Sleep is the last thing on his mind.
